Meet Katie, a feline rescue who has now become the beloved mascot of The Cat Vet. When she was first found by The Cat Vet team, she had been badly abused and was in poor health. But through the dedicated care and attention of the team, she has made a full recovery.
Capturing a portrait of Katie, however, proved to be a difficult task. Her shy nature caused her to bolt for cover at the slightest disturbance. But with a combination of coaxing techniques, such as mimicking bird sounds, providing personal space, and giving her reassurance, the team was finally able to get some beautiful headshots of this lovely cat.
It is inspiring to see how Katie has overcome her traumatic past and is now living a happy and healthy life with the support of The Cat Vet team. Her story serves as a reminder of the importance of rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
